Assemblyman Sam Blakeslee voted for offshore oil drilling, but what happened next is stranger than fiction.

Blakeslee and some of his politician buddies in Sacramento tried to hide their votes for offshore oil drilling by having the vote “erased as if it never happened.”

The San Francisco Chronicle it called “cowardice.”

Is that the kind of leadership the Central Coast needs?

Video of the floor debate on coastal drilling is at the 51:10 mark, the vote happens at 1:19.
